The striker, recently signed by Souness from Real Zaragoza on loan until the end of the season, has admitted he is happy with life in Blackburn at the moment and is enjoying playing in the Premiership.
He said: "Everyone has made me feel welcome by treating me well since I arrived.
"And I feel I've already got a good relationship with the players and the coaching staff so things are going well.
The Spaniard believes Blackburn's style of play suits his game as it is not dissimilar to that of the top sides in La Liga.
"I think the way Blackburn play is quite similar to the Spanish style," he added in a recent newspaper interview.
"They try to play a passing game and they use the long ball very rarely, only when it's a necessity.
"So it's a style which appeals to me because the manager wants us to play from the back."
