Eriksen is the Danish Player of the Year and there has been no shortage of European clubs showing an interest in the player. Barcelona and Manchester City being just two of the others.
But the 19 year old is rated by United manager Alex Ferguson and it is said that the club is willing to shell out big time to gain his services.
"United are hot on him. Trust me, they want him and £20 million is the price being bandied around," a source in Scandinavia told the Star on Sunday.
"Yet ironically both Chelsea and Spurs turned him down several years ago because they thought he was too small. He has since turned into a world-class player."
