In his first season with Rovers, the forward proved himself to be a crowd favourite scoring 19 times in the Premier League. But this time around he has been injury prone and not lived up to the name he made for himself.
But he still has ideas above his station and has again showed his ‘loyalty’ to the club by wanting to leave.
Reports say the striker has a clause in his contract which allows him to leave Ewood Park in the summer for £20million, a figure that Manchester City were willing to pay in January.
"I would not mind moving on, if it was a big team and if the conditions were right," the striker told Paraguayan radio station 970 AM.
"People are interested in what is going to happen to players next season. Rumours come from somewhere, but there is nothing official."
