"If he grasps the physical part of his game, which centre-halves have to grasp, then he will play for England.

"He has to work on his physical presence and if you are 6ft 4ins and you have a body like he has, you should be a bully and I want him to be a bully.
"I know if I'd been 6ft 4ins tall, I would have been a real bully and I only just played at it.
"You could beat him up and he would still thank you for it, he's that nice a boy.
"He's son-in-law material. He's the sort of man you would want your daughter to come home with, but I don't want a team of sons-in-law.
