The charge came in relation to the Rovers match against Tottenham on Saturday 29th November 2003, where Souness was alleged to have suggested Graham Poll was biased, and asked if he was a Spurs fan.
The Rovers manager previously stated he’d done nothing wrong and that he’d simply asked if Poll was indeed a Tottenham fan, after a ludicrous tackle on Steven Reid had gone unpunished.
