Souness rues missed chances

"It was extremely frustrating as we bossed the game from the first whistle to the last," the Rovers boss said after the goalless draw with Bolton.

"We dropped two points. If you play as well as we did then you are looking to get all three.

"Credit to them, Bolton worked hard and defended well but I can't remember Brad Friedel having to make a save.

"We played very well considering it was our second game in three days. The first goal would have been crucial but I can't be critical of my team at all."
