Souness praise for Jansen

Jansen scored his first goals since his life-threatening motorbike accident to help Blackburn reach the fourth round of the competition and keep themselves in the hunt for a FA cup & league cup double.

"I'm very pleased for Matt. It's been a very difficult seven or eight months and so tough for him," said the Rovers boss.

"It is the kind of injury where you don't know what exactly may have happened. When you get a bang on the head, who really knows what happens inside there?

"It's fantastic to see him back playing on the big stage."
