Short Pens New Deal

The veteran centre-back, who's current contract had been due to expire at the end of this season, has signed a new deal that will keep him at Ewood Park until the summer of 2005.

“I am delighted that Craig will be with us next season, he is a proper player and a true professional," Rovers boss Graeme Souness told the clubs official website.

“He is a great role model for younger players and wonderful to work with.

"You can never have too many like him around the place.”
