Savage Set To Sign

The offer, thought to be in the region of £3.1million, has ended a transfer saga lasting over three weeks. The player will now hold showdown talks with Rovers and ex-Wales boss Mark Hughes, and will travel to Ewood Park on Wednesday for a medical examination.

Rovers hope to sign Savage in time for him to be elligible to make his home debut against Bolton Wanderers at Ewood Park on Monday night.
