The Rovers midfielder has been sidelined for the past few weeks with a groin injury but Hughes says he expects Savage to be fit in time for Rovers' FA cup semi-final clash against Arsenal on April 16th.
"Robbie has had quite a bit of discomfort and we have had to be careful no to rush him," the Rovers boss told the clubs official website.
"He is running again and, providing there is no negative reaction, he will probably join in with training next week."
