"It's bad news. It looks like he's fractured his leg. It's hard to take," said Rovers boss Mark Hughes.
"I think Robbie felt something had happened. It's just been confirmed now.
"It was just two guys going for the ball. I don't think there was anything untoward.
"We're obviously devastated. It's a huge blow for him and for us."
