Larsson's contract with Birmingham expired at the end of the season, now there is a chase on to get the signature of the free agent.
Although there is an interest from foreign clubs, Larsson would prefer to stay in the Premier League.
Stoke, Newcastle and Sunderland are all believed to have made offers for the player, while Blackburn have been mentioned as a possible destination given the club's close links with Per Jonsson's (Larssons agent) agency Kentaro.
"He wants to stay in England. He loves it there," Jonsson told Fotbollskanalen.
"There are three or four clubs in England that are very interested.
"Blackburn is one of them, absolutely. That's logical considering Kentaro, but Kentaro aside, the most important thing is that it feels right."
