Rovers Sign Bothroyd

The 22-year-old former Coventry City striker has moved to Ewood Park on a season long loan deal.

"He's a young player we've been aware of for quite a while," Rovers boss Graeme Souness told the clubs official website.

"He has scored goals in Serie A and it's a hard league to score in. We hope to bring out the best in him."
