Still only 16 years old, the youngster spent time with Rovers last week on trial and the club have been impressed enough to push for a deal with his current club Asteras Tripolis.
The player told Greek radio Sport-FM: "As far as i know, some details remain for my transfer to Blackburn, I would say only the signatures.
"In the middle of July I will leave for the summer preparations.
"I am very happy to have this chance. I will leave Greece very young and if I am going to work hard I will reap the benefits from this.
"Everybody would love to play in England. The facilities, the organisation and everything works perfectly there.
"Blackburn saw me playing with the national team and through some agents they asked me to go to England for a trial. I had this trial, they told me that I really satisfied them and that they want me to go up there to sign a contract.
"I was told that I will play football at the second team of Blackburn and if I am going to satisfy them then I will stay.
"My future there depends on my performances with the second team."
