Town were forced to design a new strip especially for the game after the Premier League ruled their blue home kit and white change strip would both clash with Blackburn's blue and white halves.
Ipswich Town's 30 nominated charities will be the winners from the exercise, as the strips worn at Ewood Park will be either auctioned or raffled to raise funds for them.
The club have decided against making the kit available to supporters, feeling that young fans would put pressure on their parents to buy it, months before the new away kit comes out for the next two seasons.
Ironically, the voting process for the next away kit, with fans choosing between two dark red and blue combinations, closes today with an announcement on the winner expected by the weekend.
