Rovers drop plan to appeal Reid red-card

At the time Rovers boss Graeme Souness said he felt the decision by referee Andy D' Urso to send off Reid for a challenge on Stelios Gianakopoulos three minutes from time was extremely harsh and that the club would appeal.

However, the decision to appeal will not now happen and Republic of Ireland international Reid will face an automatic three game ban for his actions.
