Rovers bid for Amoruso

Amoruso has been a long term target of the Rovers boss and the club have confirmed making an offer to the Scottish Premier League Champions for the player.

"We've made an offer and we're hoping it will be accepted," Rovers chief executive John Williams told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"Of course we're optimistic, but at this stage we haven't been given permission to speak to him."
