Pedersen, who can play on the left wing or as a striker, will fly in to Manchester Airport tomorrow to take a medical examination and to thrash out personal terms with Ewood Park officials.
A source close to the player told RoversMad: "He (Pedersen) is very keen on a move to the Premiership, and personal terms should not be a problem."
Rovers are crying out for a top quality replacement for Damien Duff, who left Rovers for Chelsea in the summer of 2003. It now appears however, that Souness has finally got his man after many months of tracking his progress.
