"There was a real determination to get the points today.
"We've had a decent return over Christmas and I could sense in the dressing room that they wanted more and it showed in our performance.
"We have won five out of our last six games and we are looking to kick on now like we did last season.
"We are certainly looking upwards rather than downwards."
