Pedersen rejected an offer from Rovers earlier in the season, but now the Norwegian international is keen on a deal before his current contract runs out at the end of next season.
Pedersen turn down the last contract that was offered to him because he did not want to commit his future to a club who had Paul Ince in charge, but he is enjoying his football again under new manager Sam Allardyce.
Pedersen told TV2 Sporten: "I turned them down in November last year, but now there is a new manager and I really enjoy playing for him.
"I get to play all the time and my form is getting better and better, so it's not unlikely that I will be offered a new contract."
