When Big Sam took over at Ewood Park in mid December things looked bad for Rovers sitting next to bottom of the table with just 16 points from the 18 matches played.
But with Allardyce in charge, 24 points have been picked up in 18 games and Rovers are safe.
Scoring in Rovers’ last game against Portsmouth was Pedersen who believes that Sam’s influence has helped both him and the club.
"I think we were something like five points from safety when he came in," he told Rovers World.
"He has been doing loads of good things and the form of the team, and especially myself, has been getting better and better with every game we've played.
"Now we are going to try to finish the season off with a little bit of style and pride and have a good end with the fans at Ewood Park against West Brom.
"First we have Chelsea, and we can go there with a smile on our face, it is a great feeling."
