Fans had expected quite rightly that Kean would be removed from his position as manager of the team after such an hopeless showing this season which has resulted in relegation, something which everybody but Kean and Venkys refused to accept.
Only yesterday a letter was leaked that was sent to the owners by deputy chief executive to the owners of the club asking for Kean to be rmoved as he had lost the dressing room as well as warning that he would take them down.
Now, the sender of that letter has been reportedly sacked, but Kean knows nothing about that, but what he does know apparently, is that he will be the manager next season and Venkys will not be leaving. He insists he is at Blackburn for the long haul and denies he has lost the dressing room.
"I think the way the team has performed in every game has shown the dressing room is very tight,"he told a press conference.
"We've lost a lot of experience and (replacing those players) will be a big part of the recruitment process next season.
"It's very simple. The owners are here for the long-term. I'm here for the long-term."
