Midfielder Amine Linganzi has gone to Deepdale on loan until the end of the season.
The 21 year old arrived at Ewood Park from St Etienne making his debut at the end of last season at Aston Villa.
This season he has made an appearance as a substitute three times.
He goes straight into the squad to face Leicester this weekend.
