The 30-year-old has wasted no time getting the Portman Road faithful to like him by netting three times in four games for his new club.
To be fair, Andrews did have a lot to put up with from some sections of the fans at Ewood Park and that did not do anything to encourage him to lift his game. But now with the crowd behind him and playing at a lower level, he seems to be doing okay.
"It's up to Keith to impress, he's done well and if a deal can be done and it suits both parties, we'll try and do it," Jewell told BBC Radio Suffolk.
"I'm pleased to have him here and we'll just see how that goes."
The Republic of Ireland international has hinted he would be reluctant to return to Ewood Park.
