Hughes Wants Fergie To Stay

The Scotland international handed in a written transfer request on Monday which will be considered by the Rovers board over the next couple of days with Hughes hoping Ferguson has a change of heart.

"Barry's request will be considered by the Board, but my hope is that he stays and plays a part in what we are trying to do here," the Rovers boss has said.
