Blackburn manager Mark Hughes is growing increasingly impatient with Rovers duo Lucas Neill and Brett Emerton who are continuing to stall on signing new Ewood Park contracts.
Hughes frustrated over contract progress
The Australian internationals have 12 months left on their current deals and Hughes has given them another fortnight to decide whether they want to extend their stays with the club.
"We hope they'll accept," said the former Manchester United striker.
"It's my intention for them to stay but we'll need an indication from both guys on what way they're thinking. n the next couple of weeks I hope we'll get that indication."
Emerton has been linked with a move to Middlesbrough and Neill has been interesting Tottenham but Hughes added: "No-one from Middlesbrough has contacted me about Brett.
"There's always speculation when guys are going into the last year of their contracts. That's the case with the two Australian guys but I'm confident. We've offered them good deals and hopeful they will accept."
