"Some people might have thought we were taking this competition a bit lightly but that's obviously not the case.
"I always feel that we pay the right amount of respect to every competition we enter.
"It's always good for a young player to score goals, trying to make a mark on the game. The FA Cup ball was a bit unpredictable in its flight so we thought we'd try long shots early on and it's worked for us.
"An away tie at a Premiership club is one of the hardest draws you can have, but we got off to a great start and that helped our confidence."
