The former Ternana striker has failed to settle in since moving to the Premier League for £6.75 million.

The list of clubs seems endless an with transfer dead lines coming close for the key bidders, it seems likely that Grabbi could moving sooner rather than later.

Serie A club Bologna, Serie B side Napoli, Udinese have all joined the race to sign Corrado Grabbi.

Napoli are believed to be on the verge of selling off several squad members to finance Grabbi's acquisition.

Souness has relegated Grabbi behind 37-year-old coach Dean Saunders.

Assistant manager Tony Parkes said: 'Grabbi has had a tough time. Sometimes it's better just to get away from it.'
