Gabbidon to become next Rover recruit?

Hughes is a long-term admirer of the Cardiff City centre back, and Gabbidon could provide the extra quality that Blackburn Rovers are so badly lacking in their backline.

Gabbidon has become a regular in the Wales team after a string of fantastic displays at the back, and Hughes has hinted that a bid for the player in the January transfer window cannot be ruled out: "Everyone knows how highly I rate Danny - but he is one of many names we are looking at ahead of January."
