Friedel who, as his manager insists is the best in the Premiership, should have no problem getting exactly what he wants.

"My contract expires at the end of next season and I'd like to spend the rest of my career at Rovers," said Friedel.

"There's a lot to build on here. We have a lot of tremendous young players mixed in with experienced players."
