Ferguson Transfer Request Granted

Rangers, the Scotland international's former club, have already had an estimated £3million bid rejected by Rovers and it remains to be seen whether the Scottish side will match the asking price for Ferguson.

"We have reluctantly agreed to Barry's request, and he is free to talk to Glasgow Rangers providing they meet our valuation of a guaranteed £6 million," said Rovers chief executive John Williams.
