Ferguson Joins Rangers

Late last night, the two clubs agreed a fee of £4.5m rising to £5m after appearances. It did not take long for the player to agree personal terms at Ibrox and once Ferguson had passed his medical, he was unveiled as a Rangers player.

The transfer leaves a bad taste in the mouths of Rovers fans after him having spent only 15 months at the club, with eight of those months being spent injured on the sidelines. The move comes after Ferguson declared in December that he was happy with life in Lancashire and was enjoying training under the new management regime.
