Ferguson debut ok by Souness

The £7.5million transfer deadline-day signing was making his first appearance for Rovers since signing from Rangers.

"He's played two internationals and then has come and played for most of the match in a three-man midfield when they had four, said Souness after the game.

"It was difficult and I thought he did well."
