1966 was the last time the two sides met in the top flight, of course Dunn wasn’t around then, but he was involved in the game against the Dingles in 2001 that Rovers hammered their Lancashire rivals 5-0.
It was great having the bragging rights fter that game and Dunn is hoping we can have them once again.
Dunn said: "People who aren't from here probably wouldn't give a toss about the match. But it is a big derby.
"As soon as the lads go out there they will know it is a special game.
"Burnley are obviously doing quite well but we really want one over on them. If you can't get up for this game then you may as well give up.
"The last time I played against them we won 5-0 and I am hoping that is the case now.
"Half of my mates are Burnley fans and half of them are Blackburn fans. I probably don't pick the phone up so much to the Burnley ones!
"But the bragging rights will certainly be at stake."
