The Scot has decided to remain in England in order to nurse a niggling hamstring injury in the hope of being fit for next Tuesday's Fifth Round Replay against Burnley.
Dickov has needed injections before and after recent games to reduce the pain, but this week has provided an ideal period of rest for the ex-Arsenal and Manchester City frontman.
"I've decided to stay at home with my family and try and rest," said Dickov. "I've been playing through the pain barrier in the past couple of weeks and it could put me out for longer if I don't rest it now."
