Defender Bid Rejected

An un-named club, believed to be either Manchester City or Newcastle, had made a £2million offer for the defender which Chairman John Williams revealed had been rejected by Rovers.

"We've had a bid of £2million," Williams has revealed.

"It was rejected and the club concerned has been told he is not for sale."
