Media Stories circulating Cole, suggested the 32 year old was in line for a £2million pound switch to Middlesborough when the transfer window opens in January.
The former Newcastle and Manchester United hitman has remained open minded over his future at the club.
"I've got 18 months on my contract, I'd like to see those 18 months out but you never know whats goin to happen." stated Cole.
However Williams too has now made an official statement regarding the issue.
"There has been no contact from anyone about Andy Cole", said Williams.
Cole has fallen down the pecking order recently at Ewood Park behind starlet Paul Gallagher, but manager Graeme Souness has said he will stick with last weekends' winning side, unless Gallagher fails to overcome a knee strain.
The 17 year old was forced to pull out of Berti Vogts Scotland team to face Turkey in mid-week, but is in the squad for the mammoth task at Arsenal on Sunday.
