Richie Wellens missed that third-round tie after his short-term contract expired on New Year's Day but the experienced midfielder has this week signed a new deal and is expected to go straight back into the starting line-up.
Former Bolton and West Brom defender Abdoulaye Meite has also signed for the club but it remains to be seen whether Doncaster will receive international clearance in time for the centre-half to make his debut at Ewood Park.
Fellow defender Bongani Khumalo and striker Billy Paynter are fit again after injury absences, both were on the bench against Stevenage, while James Coppinger and James Husband have resumed training but this game may come too soon for them.
