Berg picked up in the injury in training whilst warming up for the Celtic match, and didn’t feature in the Thursday fixture.
“I have felt the Achilles problem for a while now and it doesn’t feel good right now,” he said.
The club doctors spotted something was wrong and had to stop Berg training, or else the problem could have gotten a lot worse and damaged his legs.
Berg still maintains this is his last year at Rovers.
