Bentley Hoping For Step-Up

The Rovers midfielder became the first English player to score at the new Wembley Stadium and along with Rovers team-mate Matt Derbyshire, who also scored, he helped the Young England side to a 3-3 draw against the Italians.

"All my family are here and to go down as the first Englishman to score at the new Wembley is fantastic," Bentley said after the game.

"I have the confidence that I can be part of the full England team, and this is the place to put yourself out there and perform.

"If I get the chance, I'll grab it with both hands."
