The player has worked hard during his trial at Blackburn and it seems like he has done enough to persuade Big Sam to take a chance on him.
Sam has been looking for an experienced striker, but with just five goals for Citeh in a two year spell with the club, some Rover’s fans are questioning why he would be any better than Jason Roberts who Sam is prepared to let go.
Rovers chairman John Williams admitted the club are seeking a striker but they will not be paying over the odds for any player.
He said: "We have made a couple of offers but the clubs' valuations for these players are way above what we have offered. The valuations are substantially above what we are prepared to pay."
